Lunera Lighting Launches Plug and Play Helen Lamp Linear LED Tube for Replacement

Lunera® Lighting, Inc., a leader in lighting innovations accelerating the transformation to advanced LED technology, announced the expansion of the Helen Lamp linear plug and play product family today. Building owners and operators can upgrade their lighting infrastructure with four-foot T8 linear ballast-bypassed (120V-277V line driven) or four-foot and two-foot T8 linear ballast-driven LED lamps. For high-bay areas, the ballast-driven four-foot T5HO LED lamp is a high-lumen alternative to HIDs. These high performance linear LED lamps instantly lower energy cost by as much as 55 percent.

Lunera Lighting introduces new linear LED tube for replacement. (Lunera/LEDinside)

Like the four-foot Helen Lamp ballast driven T8 announced recently, these new linear LED lamps stand above other T8 and T5 replacement solutions through the use of top-quality glass construction with end-necking for strength. The linear lamps won't yellow and/or sag over time and a broad 330-degree beam angle enables the lamps to perfectly replicate
a fluorescent tube's performance in the fixture. Compact end caps maximize the illuminated length of the tube, adding lumens and evenly distributing light.

Lunera's linear lamps include high performance LEDs mounted on a flexible PCB for improved reliability and better thermal conduction. These robust LEDs are powered at only 40 percent of their rated drive for improved efficacy up to 123 lm/W and provide an extended lamp life of 50,000 hours to L70. The lamps are available in a variety of color temperatures to create just the right ambience for any interior environment.
