The ATIVO multisensor is specially designed for detecting light and the presence, or motion of, people or vehicles in rooms with high ceilings of up to 20 metres. The ATIVO sensor can be used in a wide variety of applications, from industrial, production and assembly halls, to high-bay warehouses and logistics centres.

The contrast sensor can detect presence in five motion zones and optimise the light in the desired way.

The contrast sensor can detect presence in five motion zones and optimise the light in the desired way. In five constant lighting zones that are independent of the motion zones, you can control the lighting to an individually defined illuminance. Zones can be defined flexibly and modified at any time.

The innovative multi-sensor detects available daylight and detects the motion, type and number of defined objects. Interference factors, such as heat sources that expose the limits of infrared sensors, no longer play any role. The contrast technology enables a new level of sensor quality. Further advantages of the intelligent ATIVO sensor include the ability to update the software or add new functions whilst the sensor is mounted out of reach. The ATIVO product family covers various application areas. HighBay sensors have been developed for room heights up to 20 metres; a robust IP64 case gives it the necessary resilience for industry. Master sensors control the lighting automatically, integrated sensors show their strength in combination with a Zumtobel lighting management system.

Sensor that adapts perfectly

ATIVO divides the rectangular detection zone into a grid of 17 x 11 cells. Based on these small units, zones can be defined in almost any form and arrangement – in accordance with local use and room layout. Thereby, mutually overlapping movement and light measurement zones is permitted; luminaire groups can also be freely assigned. As a result, ATIVO maximises the potential for saving energy and adapts perfectly to the room layout and the various usage areas.
