It’s trendy to have LED lights twinkling on dresses and clothes, under skirts or even under ones’ skin, but creating a unique LED matrix display on a hand bag is the next thing now.
Mike Szczys and Gerrit Coetzee from Hackday learned that Debra Ansell, the blogger of Geek Mom Projects, cut and sew the leather together while taking care of the layout of the LEDs all by herself.
Debra uses Adafruit Feather board along with an optional Bluerfruit LE to drive the display. Debra is able to connect her smartphone to the LEDs all in one single board. With simple setup, she is ready to feed messages and words to her hand bag via smartphones.
