MaxLite Launches LED Light for Utility Lighting Applications

MaxLite introduces the ENERGY STAR certified LED Shop Light as long lasting illumination that adds instant full brightness to utility rooms, garages, basements, attics and other work areas.

An energy efficient replacement for fluorescent tube fixtures, the Shop Light consumes just 48 watts but delivers 4,000 lumens of bright, uniform light that optimizes safety and visibility for all tasks. Quick and easy to install, the Shop Light chain mounts to the ceiling or rafters, and plugs into a grounded outlet using the provided mounting hardware and power cord. The fixture powers on and off with a simple pull chain.

“The Shop Light is the perfect plug-and-play replacement for fluorescent fixtures,” said Product Manager Ramesh Raghavan. “Just hang it, plug it in and you’re ready to go – no hardwiring necessary. And with lumen maintenance of 50,000 hours or greater, the MaxLite Shop Lite will likely outlast any car in the garage!”

(Note: 50,000 hours equates to 17.1 years operating 8 hours in a day)
