Orion Energy Systems Wins Consulting Specifying Engineer Product of the Year Award

Orion Energy Systems , a leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance, energy-efficient retrofit lighting platforms, announced today that its ISON™ Class Gen II LED High Bay fixture has been selected for one of Consulting-Specifying Engineer’s 2016 Products of the Year. At the time award applications were being accepted, the ISON™ Class Gen II LED High Bay fixture was the highest performing LED high bay fixture in the industry, delivering 179 lumens per watt (LPW). Earlier this month, Orion announced the launch of its third generation ISON™ Class Gen lll LED High Bay fixture that delivers an astounding 214 LPW. Until now, the industry would have considered 200 LPW unattainable.

Orion’s ISON™ Class Gen II LED High Bay fixture was one of the products selected by the print and digital audience of Consulting-Specifying Engineer from a group of 100+ finalists. The finalists were selected from a larger group of applicants by qualified engineers and building professionals who specify products and systems for nonresidential facilities.
