IIM Adds Green Laser Diode Module with Low Voltage Supply

Better visual perception of green light (520 nm – 530 nm) compared to red, and the simultaneous availability of green laser diodes lead to an increased demand for green lasers.

IMM Photonics new low voltage supply green laser diode, (IMM Photonics/LEDinside)

IMM Photonics is expanding its existing range of laser diode modules by adding a series of green laser diode modules with output power of 0.9 mW and 5 mW. The innovative driver design allows for operation as of 2.4 V voltage supply, and is hence also suitable for use with batteries or rechargeable batteries.

The modules are available in the form of dot lasers as well as line lasers, and can be used as pilot lasers and in alignment systems. An analogue modulation input is also available as an option which may be used for external power setting.
