LED Taiwan 2017 to Target Opportunities in IR/UV LED

Organized by SEMI and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), LED Taiwan and Taiwan International Lighting Show (TiLS) will be collocated and held on April 12-15, 2017 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1, showcasing a wide range of technology innovations and solutions in six themed pavilions.
 
In addition, there will be seminars and forums addressing global trends, innovative technologies, and related research, which provide not only information exchange but also business opportunities for professionals.

This year, LED Taiwan brings together 150 exhibitors covering 500 booths, and is expected to attract over 12,000 buyers and suppliers from home and abroad, connecting entire supply chains to deliver the latest product development and technologies.
 
Targeting Five High-Profit Markets
 
According to statistics from LEDinside, the world LED lighting market reached a value of US$ 14.8 billion in 2016, suggesting widespread use of LEDs in the area of lighting products, displays and automotive lighting. With the development of healthcare, mobile payment, virtual reality and automotive electronics, LED manufacturers have accelerated expansion into niche markets such as IR LED, UV LED and lasers.
 
Regarding these market trends, LED Taiwan 2017 debuts an IR/UV LED pavilion and a laser pavilion. The other four continue last year's themes of high-brightness LED, LED components, sapphire, and smart lighting solutions.
 
Leading companies including Chinese Sapphire Manufacturer Aurora Opto, Beijing-based NAURA Technology Group, and Taiwanese manufacturers Crystalwise, EPILEDS, Epistar, Evest Corporation, Lite-On, Rapitech, SENTEC and Yellow Stone Corp. will exhibit the latest product development and technologies, which offer detailed insights into the LED industry and manufacturing processes.
 
Opportunities in IR/ UV LED 
 
LED Taiwan 2017 also features an IR/UV LED Summit, which will invite executive level R&D professionals from CrayoNano, Epistar, Instrument Systems, Lite-On, Nikkiso, Beijing-based NAURA Technology Group and Yole Développement to share their exclusive views on technical breakthroughs, development trends, future opportunities and challenges of IR LED and UV LED.
