At CeBIT, Zeutschel introduced an all-in-one digitization system for libraries, archives and museums. "The Zeutschel ScanStudio combines the best of two worlds - the world of studio photography with the world of professional scanners," says Jörg Vogler, Managing Director of Zeutschel. It consists of a camera system with a digital back of PhaseOne, interchangeable lenses, a special
LED lighting as well as a variety of copyboard systems.
The digitization system is the first result of a close cooperation between Zeutschel and PhaseOne, announced at CeBIT.
The Zeutschel ScanStudio not only redefines flexibility and future-proof design, it meets the highest demands of image quality, has a productive and reliable operation, and is also easy-to-use.

Flexiblity, highest image quality and productivity
Designed as a completely modular system, Zeutschel ScanStudio offers the user unprecedented levels of flexibility. Besides showcasing interchangeable lenses, the system concept features a variety of copyboard systems, like transparency units, brackets for the most common film formats and book cradles.
The Zeutschel ScanStudio offers an image quality exceeding the provisions of the established digitization guidelines of FADGI, Metamorfoze and the ISO 19264-1 standard.
Instead of a flash, the digitization system uses the special Zeutschel ErgoLED lighting system featuring two LED lamps that can be adjusted and controlled. This ensures an optimum illumination of the documents and a glare-free, directed lighting and economic operation. The Zeutschel ScanStudio is controlled using the popular OmniScan software. Create predefined workflows in the software containing all the major settings for the respective task.
