Signify has announced a new series of its Philips Hue products and will showcase them at IFA 2018. With a wide range of products including luminaires for bathrooms, living rooms and gardens, Signify aims to provide a smart home lighting system.
For living rooms, Signify offers its Philips Hue Play, a compact, highly versatile light bar providing an indirect light effect which can be adjusted to 16 million different colors when connectied to the Philips Hue bridge and Philips Hue app. In addition, it can synchronize with entertainment system to transform a living room into a cinema or to enhance the excitement and immersion while playing games.

Besides, the new Philips Hue Signe, Philips Hue Liane and Philips Hue Sana lamps have been designed to provide a beautiful lighting effect in both white and color ambiance to create the perfect ambiance at home.
In the bathroom, the new Philips Hue Adore bathroom range helps to create different atmospheres with its light recipes: energize, concentrate, relax and read.

When coming home, the new Philips Hue white GU10 spotlight knows when to switch on via its geo-location capabilities synchronized with mobile phones to locate people. Moreover, it can be scheduled to switch on automatically for security purposes.
Signify has also updated the progress of its share repurchase program, which was announced on July 30th 2018 for reducing the capital. The company has repurchased 397,054 shares at an average price of EUR 24.09 per share and an aggregate amount of EUR 9.6 million (US$ 11.05 million) in the period of August 6th -10th. During August 13th -18th, it has repurchased 376,192 shares at an average price of EUR 23.99 per share and an aggregate amount of EUR 9.0 million (US$ 10.36 million).
