The two companies further noted that the PIXALUX™ advanced placement machine was honored with an Equipment of the Year Award by the Japan Electronics Packaging and Circuits Association (JPCA). The award was presented to K&S and Rohinni at JPCA’s annual trade show and conference in Tokyo.

Matt Gerber, Rohinni’s CEO, has shared the company’s high-speed, die bonding transfer technology, which possessed speed, yield and accuracy at Micro LEDforum hosted by LEDinside in July. , and may bring forth solutions suiting the requirements of different applications.

Gerber commented, “We are very pleased with how the market is accepting PIXALUX™ and expect this technology to be the leading choice for high speed Mini LED and Micro LED placement equipment.”

Customer evaluations of PIXALUX™ commenced last fall with systems installed at several manufacturing locations. With nearly 250 million square meters of flat-panel displays produced annually, the growth potential of emerging Mini and Micro LED placement technologies is extremely promising.
