GE Current introduces several benefits that can be integrated with its solutions including accurate indoor positioning, disinfectant lighting, contact tracing and occupancy and congestion management.

Sensing and positioning technologies have been crucial for keeping social distance to reduce infection risk. Accurate indoor positioning, contact tracing and occupancy management are thus critical to support current health policy. In addition, as germicidal UV lights are clinically proven as effective disinfecting solution for any occupied space, incorporating disinfectant lighting with GE Current and Pointr’s technology solution could significantly reduce common pathogens in public spaces.

“Now more than ever, technology can help businesses deliver an optimal working environment for workers,” said Ed Davis, Director, Corporate Development & Alliances at Current. “With smart lighting combined with location-based services, businesses get efficient return to work solutions that are easy to implement and highly scalable across multiple platforms.”
