Common Shooting Issues with LED Displays (Video) | Virtual Production, Movie Production, Broadcasting

Replacing green screens with LED displays as the backdrops have been discussed and applied in virtual production. In the episode, the lecturer started with the shooting concept and led the audiences to understand the principle of LED displays. As for the shooting challenges, he used actual pictures and videos to explain the following shooting issues: black scan lines, bright and dark lines, extra grayscale and grayscale loss, and flickers at low brightness. The episode will let the audiences quickly understand these common problems. In the future, they can use these materials as a basis to further discuss the requirements and specifications of the LED display for shooting with the suppliers.
