LITEON Join in electronica China 2023 First Public Demonstration of Noctilucent LED Signal Lights and Facial Recognition for Vaults, Presenting Applications in Automotive Opto-semiconductors and Sensing

LITEON Technology (2301.tw) will participate in the "2023 electronica China 2023", with a focus on showcasing its automotive optoelectronic semiconductors and sensing solutions, and comprehensively displaying three core technologies of intelligent illumination, photocoupler isolation, and smart sensing applications. LITEON will exhibit its self-developed exclusive noctilucent LED signal lights, as well as facial recognition applications for vaults which have been jointly developed with customers. The exhibition will also highlight LITEON's consistent efforts in active deployment in the automotive industry and forward-looking optoelectronic semiconductor solutions. In addition to presenting its achievements in independent research and development, LITEON aims to further demonstrate its commitment towards developing automotive optoelectronic semiconductors that incorporate cutting-edge technology.

LITEON’s certified automotive photocouplers support new energy storage and EV battery management systems
As the world's first manufacturer to obtain AEC-Q102 certification for automotive photocouplers, LITEON has recently obtained AEC-Q101 certification, meeting the demand for safety and reliability verification from automakers. At the exhibition, LITEON will showcase their newly certified, small photo relay (MOSFET output) (LTX-7258S-TA1-A), which supports up to 1800V voltage. This photo relay is made of the latest third-generation semiconductor silicon carbide (SiC) material, significantly increasing voltage load capacity and durability. This photo relay can tackle the power technology challenges of the new energy storage and EV battery management systems market.


Noctilucent LED signal lights demonstrate the strength of LITEON's low-carbon technology
For smart illumination, LITEON will showcase a full range of Mini LED products for vehicles, as well as its self-developed noctilucent LED signal lights. LITEON Automotive Mini LED has the characteristics of high brightness, high contrast, high resolution, and low profile. It can be applied to grille lights and taillights as information communication displays. In addition to being able to create personalized designs with smooth dynamic images, it can also clearly present multiple messages in pictures and texts, which helps to improve driving safety. In addition, for the first time, LITEON’s self-developed noctilucent LED signal lights, which adopt environmental protection and energy-saving technology and use self-luminous recycling and re-storage design, can achieve 98% power saving benefits, fully demonstrating LITEON’s implementation of low-carbon, determination to sustainability.



iToF application on facial recognition for vaults demonstrates sensing achievements developed in collaboration with customers
LITEON has been deeply committed itself to the field of smart sensing applications for a long time. During the exhibition, LITEON will showcase a variety of cutting-edge infrared optical sensing solutions, including the iToF (depth sensing module) solution developed in cooperation with customers this year. This breakthrough in iToF technology has resulted in significantly improved accuracy and enhanced safety levels, making it possible to integrate it into a facial recognition system for treasury vaults. The VCSEL packaging products exhibited by LITEON this time are mainly applied in 3D depth sensing modules (iToF). They feature high uniformity, high response speed, and excellent heat dissipation, providing customers with multiple fields of view (FoV) and package size selection to meet multiple application requirements.
