Robotic lawnmowers are becoming increasingly popular due to their convenience and ability to save time and effort. Although robotic lawnmowers have made significant advancements over the years, many still require users to lay down perimeter wires to define the mowing area and clear the lawn of any obstacles to ensure the mower does not get stuck or damaged.

Well, such is not the case with Neomow X robotic lawnmowers. Developed by a Hong Kong company, Hookii, the Neomow X is the first-of-its-kind innovative robot lawnmower equipped with an advanced LiDAR SLAM navigation system.

Neomow’s advanced LiDAR SLAM navigation system incorporates a laser sensor that empowers real-time 3D mapping of the environment. The LiDAR SLAM Precision Navigation takes on the task of lawn navigation with unparalleled precision, ensuring meticulous mowing of every square inch. With this cutting-edge technology, Neomow X effortlessly handles challenging lawn conditions, remaining unaffected by light or signal interference.

The robotic lawnmower is integrated with a 360° LiDAR module and an Intelligent Obstacle Avoidance System, which detects and avoids obstacles in all directions and autonomously plans an avoidance route. It also has a wide-angle front bumper to provide additional protection.

It features a patented sleek design embedded blade and a hollow-out cutting disc, preventing grass clippings from jamming the cutting disc.

In addition, the new lawnmowers are equipped with intelligent automatic recharging, in which the Neomow can automatically return to its charging station when the battery is low. After recharging, it resumes harvesting where it left off. The charging station can be installed indoors as well as outdoors as you prefer.

The Neomow X comes with a 234Wh lithium battery, which provides up to 120 minutes of mowing time, and the Neomow X pro offers a 315Wh battery, which can last up to 180 minutes.

The robot uses a front-wheel drive system that helps it move smoothly over any terrain. Also, the lawnmower has a 45-degree climbing capability and comes with an IPX5-grade waterproof rating that mows your lawn in any weather. Neomow X can operate at a noise level of less than 60dB during the day as well as at night so that the peaceful environment is not affected.

The lawnmowers can be customized with the help of the Hookii app, which lets you personalize mowing preferences, set schedules, and monitor progress from the convenience of your smartphone. The app can also be used to select between four different mowing patterns, set the height of the floating cutting disc, adjust the mowing angle for each task, or track the device’s GPS coordinates if it gets stolen.

What’s more, the Neomow X provides multiple connectivity options, including 4G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, allowing for convenient remote control, configuration, and monitoring location.

Neomow X and Neomow X Pro are available to back only on Kickstarter with a starting price of $1,199 and $1,499, respectively.
