The manufacturer does not yet provide any information about the laptop itself. However, MSI has revealed some information about its screen. The Titan 18 HX display uses AUO’s AmLED technology. This is a modification of Mini-LED, which has its own algorithms for controlling the backlight in real time. The developers call this technology Dynamic Mini-LED – it reads the image and controls the operation of each matrix diode individually. It is noted that AmLED shows the best results in terms of color rendering, brightness and contrast. The Titan 18 HX display features an HDR contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1.
According to MSI, the Titan 18 HX also has 100 percent DCI-P3 color space coverage and is VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified with a peak brightness of 1000 cd/m2. According to the manufacturer, each Titan 18 HX display is thoroughly tested and calibrated before installation.
Details about the MSI Titan 18 HX laptop will be available early next month.
