Lenovo is now selling the ThinkVision P27pz-30, a 27-inch IPS monitor that debuted at the end of 2022. Like the ThinkVision P32pz-30, Lenovo had hoped to start selling the ThinkVision P27pz-30 by August 2023. On the one hand, the latter is only recently available in Germany and the UK. On the other hand, the monitor's release still eludes the US, despite Lenovo outlining a $1,699 MSRP in its initial press release.
At any rate, Lenovo has not changed any ThinkVision P27pz-30 specifications since its first showcase. Thus, the monitor outputs at 4K (3,840 x 2,160) with a 60 Hz refresh rate and VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification. Additionally, the presence of 1,152 Mini LED backlight zones helps the ThinkVision P27pz-30 achieve 1,200 nits peak brightness when viewing HDR content or 600 nits in other cases. On top of that, the monitor contains the following ports:
-
1x DisplayPort 1.4
-
1x DisplayPort 1.4 out
-
1x Gigabit Ethernet
-
2x HDMI 2.1
-
4x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A (1x BC 1.2)
-
1x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C (Up to 15W)
-
1x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C
-
1x USB 4 (40 Gbps)
Moreover, the ThinkVision P27pz-30 has a KVM switch, while its USB 4 port can deliver up to 140 W of power to connected devices. Currently, the monitor sells for £1,120 in the UK, including VAT, but before any discounts. By contrast, Lenovo charges €1,699 for the ThinkVision P27pz-30 in the Eurozone, which equates to £1,453 at current exchange rates.
