The TCL X11H Max, who was presented at the beginning of March, is a 163-inch TV based on micro-LED technology, which uses tiny LEDs to illuminate each pixel individually. As a result, the TV achieves insanely high brightness values of 10,000 nits. In terms of resolution, however, the TV is limited to the current 4K standard.
TCL presented the huge TV to the public for the first time at the Global Partners Conference (GPC) 2024 in China. Video recordings were made that give a first impression of the size and brightness of the TV.
The video published on the YouTube channel HDTVTest shows the owner of the YouTube channel explaining the technical features of the X11H Max. Behind him is the giant TV. However, the camera used to record the video darkens the background so much that the brightness of the screen barely comes into its own.
At minute 2:40, the TV briefly shows a black image, after which the background is brightened again. The next sample image briefly gives a good impression of the enormous screen brightness.
