ASUS has revealed a new gaming monitor under the ROG Swift lineup. The ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP has a 1440p OLED panel and a 480Hz display refresh rate. The model omits a glossy display and was part of the highlights at Gamescom 2024 in Cologne, Germany.
The ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP was first showcased during CES 2024 last January. Asus recently started selling The ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP and PG39WCDM in the UK and US. It is part of a growing list of Asus gaming monitors with improved refresh rates and brightness for seamless gaming and other applications.
The new Asus ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP gaming monitor has a 27-inch OLED panel and offers similar output parameters as the Alienware AW2725DF. The impressive 480Hz refresh rate of the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP is a major highlight of the new monitor. It also utilizes the LG WOLED panel with a GtG response time of 0.03ms.
The new Asus gaming monitor features AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC variable refresh rate (VRR) technologies. It is being promoted as the world’s first 1440p 480Hz OLED gaming monitor which will soon berth in some markets. Inside sources claim that the model will soon enter the US market and the EU.
