Xiaomi has released various monitors recently, some of which it has offered globally. For reference, the company brought its Mini LED gaming monitor (curr. $329.99 on Amazon) to North America at the start of the month. Now though, it has returned to the Redmi A27U, which it refreshed today alongside releasing the following other devices:
-
Redmi Buds 6
-
Redmi Note 14
-
Redmi Note 14 Pro
-
Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus
Ultimately, Xiaomi has a greater tendency than most to refresh a device. With that being said, the Redmi A27 series has been updated more frequently than most. To recap, the company introduced a 2.5K and 100 Hz edition in the spring. A few months later, it decided to release a 4K model that contained four video inputs.

Now, it has re-released the Redmi A27U with an improved port selection. Specifically, the new model comes with a USB Type-C port that its predecessors lacked. According to Xiaomi, this port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and can recharge a laptop or other compatible device at 90 W.
Moreover, the new monitor outputs natively in 4K (3,840 x 2,160) with a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 60 Hz refresh rate and 6 ms response times. On top of that, the IPS panel is said to cover 95% and 100% of the DCI-P3 and sRGB colour spaces, respectively, with ΔE<1 colour deviations. The new Redmi A27U is available in China for CNY 1,399 (~$200); Xiaomi has not indicated yet whether the monitor will be available globally.
