SPIRIT GOES NAKED AT EUROLED 2009

Since their inception in 2004, Spirit Circuits have proven that UK manufacturers who offer innovation in service and delivery can thrive despite economic challenges and foreign competition.

The company’s recent acquisition of established Hampshire-based Aztec Circuits has helped to strengthen Spirits’ position and will ensure the business continues to hold its own as a UK PCB supplier.  This means that Spirit can now offer metal backed PCBs which utilise thermal management technology suitable for new emerging markets particularly in LED technology and Power applications.

Spirit offers a range of service innovations which will save time, assist with R&D and help their businesses flourish.  The company will be promoting all their services including ‘Go Naked’ at the forthcoming euroLED exhibition.

Managing Director Steve Driver explains the service, “ ‘Go Naked ‘ enables customers to order free prototype boards made using only tracks and holes, which not only avoids the unnecessary expense of soldermasks, component idents and gold plating, but also simplifies the development process for the customer.”

“The LED market continues to grow as more customers are taking advantage of the cost-saving and environmental benefits of using this type of technology, enabling us to grow our customer base globally.”

Spirit will be promoting ‘Go Naked on Aluminium’ at euroLED in Coventry on 3-4 June so visit the team on stand LED37 to find out more.
