MEAN WELL New Product Announcement: LPLC-18 & LPHC-18 Series ~ 18W Economical CC Mode LED Power Supply

In response to the issue of increasing energy price and global warming, energy-efficient LED-related applications are thriving nowadays. To accommodate the growing scope of LED lighting market, many industrial countries established LED related policies to support this prospective industry. After launching constant current (C.C.) mode models LPC-20 (20W), MEAN WELL introduced another 18W economical C.C. mode product – LPLC-18 and LPHC-18 series – to fulfill the increasing demand of LED lighting, decorative lighting, and general high dust/moisture applications. With non-PFC design, LPLC-18 (with input range of 90~132VAC) and LPHC-18 (with input range 180~264VAC) could be the most cost-competitive LED power supplies of MEAN WELL’s existing C.C. mode models.

Filled with heat-conducted glue, LPLC-18 and LPHC-18 series can operate between -25 ~ +70℃ by only free air convection and have an internal shock absorber to withstand vibration. The IP67 structure, which is fully potted by glue and enclosed by a plastic case with 94V-0 fire prevention level, can protect the electronic components against dust and moisture that allows them to operate under harsh conditions. Other standard functions / features include protection for short circuit, over load, over voltage, and over temperature, and wire-style input/output (18AWG*2) for flexible installation. Typical applications include LED electronic displays, LED wall-wash lighting, LED-based decorative/architectural lighting, LED stage and theater lighting.
