LightWild today announced it has completed the LED lighting for Prairie Band Casino & Resort, in Mayetta, KS. The Casino and Resort is owned and operated by the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation, which is approximately 85 miles from Kansas City.
H2B architects, inc. was commissioned to design a fresh new image that would appeal to guests of all ages. The challenge was to create a space that was not overwhelming to the gaming floor, but would serve as a focal point across the entire casino area. To achieve this, 52 of LightWild's Project Linear LED fixtures with red and color controllable RGB LEDs were used in various lengths to illuminate glass panels behind the bar and from the bar counter to the floor. In addition, LightWild lighting adds color to a unique glass bead curtain and textured wall that runs approximately 70 feet along and 20 feet high above the bar area.

"The creative process began with an understanding of how the space was to function with the overall aesthetics. Lighting was a crucial element used to create an atmosphere of modern leisure," says Jeff Hall of H2B architects, inc. "Through the use of LED technology, stainless steel beads and textured wall covering, the area was sophisticatedly transformed giving the guest an opportunity to experience a space that continues to change in a subtle manner."
