Micro/Mini LED Displays Showcased at ISE 2020

ISE 2020 ended last week on February 15 at RAI Amsterdam. Despite that some companies decided to pull off from the exhibition with coronavirus concerns, still many worldwide industry leaders attend ISE 2020 with their latest products.

Micro LED and Mini LED displays, the next-gen display technology, also played significant roles at the event with several new products showcased and innovative solution presented.

Samsung Presents 583-inch Micro LED Display - The Wall for Business

Samsung extended product portfolio, The Wall for Business, covering Micro LED display sized in 219-inch, 292-inch, 437-inch and so far the largest 583-inch 8K display. The new business series is designed for commercial applications including broadcast centers, lobbies and design centers.

Nationstar Launches New Mini LED Series IMD-M05

Nationstar released is new Mini LED product for display applications. With IMD package solution, the 1010 size LED integrated 12 flip chips with a pitch size of 0.5 mm. The product enables seamless 102-inch 4K and 204-inch 8K displays and can achieve high contrast and brightness.

Ledman Unveils New P 0.6mm Micro LED Display with COB Technology

After launching a 324-inch 8K Micro LED display in July 2019, Ledman introduced the new Micro LED product of Ledman at ISE 2020. The new product can also be spliced to make displays in different size. Ledman also offers standard size Micro LED display with a pitch size of 0.6mm including 54-inch 2K display, 108-inch 4K display, and 21-inch 8K display.

Unilumin Debuts UMini and Upanel 0.5S

UMini and Upanel 0.5S are the latest display product series of Unilumin. UMini adopts Mini LED technology of Unilumin and can reduce energy use to 40% while achieve high response rate, wide view angle, and a brightness of 2000 nits.

UMini has a color contrast rate of 20000:1, wide color gamut and HDR. Unilumin noted that the series marked technology breakthroughs of the company in Micro LED development covering wafer and chip production, package technology and system integration. Currently Unilumin is capable of mass producing Mini LED 0.9 with pitch size of 0.6mm.

Leyard Planar Showcases 216-inch 0.6mm Micro LED Display

Leyard and Planar exhibited Micro LED display with an ultra-fine pitch size of 0.6mm. The 216-inch display offered 8K resolution.

Absen Introduces Venus LED Series

The Venus (VN) Series is designed for concerts and festivals due to its ability to create super-sized screens at speed. The product features an integrated 'module-on-frame' design. By removing the sub-frame (cabinet frame), Venus is 27% lighter than competing solutions.

The VN Series will be available in two standard sizes: 1,500mm (W) x 1,000mm (H) and 500mm x 1,000mm, in order to allow for fully customized options. It will be available in 3.9mm, 4.8mm and 8.3mm pixel pitch versions, boasting up to 5000 nits brightness.

AOTO Demonstrates Micro LED Display for the First Time

At ISE 2020, AOTO first presented its Micro LED display with a pitch size of 0.4mm, featuring high brightness, low power consumption, high contrast, high resolution and saturation.

AOTO names its Mini LED display solution series with Greek mythological figures. The latest solutions, Pegasus and Artemis, was demonstrated at the show. Pegasus can open and close towards different direction and Artemis can move smoothly on the attached wall.
