From June 11 to 13, the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando played host to InfoComm 2025, attracting more than 800 exhibitors from 26 countries.

Leading LED-related companies such as Samsung, LG, TCL, Hisense Commercial Display, BOE, Leyard, Unilumin, Absen, Leyard, INFiLED, VMTC, Nationstar, Kinglight, SinYoPto, Saphlux, Colorlight, Novastar, Macroblock, Sunmoon, Deco, Cedar, YAHAM, and Retop showcased their latest technologies and products.
Samsung
This year, Samsung showcased its latest display technologies, integrated solutions, and products co-developed with Cisco and Logitech.
The Wall—Samsung’s large-size LED display series—includes a 136-inch 4K all-in-one machine (16:9) for immersive video conferencing when paired with Cisco’s collaboration tools, and a 146-inch 4K version featured in partner booths such as Vu Technologies, demonstrating integrated studio solutions.

Also on display was a 105-inch 5K UHD ultra-wide smart signage display (21:9)—the first of its kind certified by Cisco. Optimized for Microsoft Teams Rooms and Webex Meetings, it offers a wider view, ideal for workplaces, retail, and public spaces.
Additionally, the display maker introduced a new colored e-paper display powered by digital ink technology. Lightweight and ultra power-efficient, it supports cordless installation with a built-in battery and consumes far less energy than conventional LCDs—perfect for eco-conscious applications.
TCL
TCL announced its entry to the North American commercial display market at InfoComm 2025, debuting high-brightness, high-performance displays tailored to commercial applications.
BOE
BOE presented cutting-edge indoor, outdoor, and creative displays and technologies for its MLED business.
For indoor applications, BOE presented the Ultra-Slim (5mm-thick) HDR Micro LED display, the BYH Ultra P0.9 with 2000 nits peak brightness, and the BYH Pro P0.9 offering high brightness with low power consumption—targeting high-end conferencing and simulation environments.
Outdoor offerings featured displays built for harsh conditions, such as the BYB P5.9 with up to 10,000 nits of brightness and a P1.9 COB semi-outdoor screen delivering 3,500 nits and high contrast, both focusing on durability, energy efficiency, and easy installation.

The creative display zone presented a P2.9 rental screen for fast assembly, a flexible curved LED wall for virtual production, and a spherical LED display—ideal for filmmaking, exhibitions, and science centers.
Other displays included a premium COB module developed with Barco Infinipix, a 55-inch high-brightness storefront window signage, a 48-inch digital signage, and intelligent video conferencing solutions.
Leyard
At InfoComm 2025, Leyard’s subsidiary Planar debuted several innovative products, with a spotlight on its ultra-fine pitch LED video wall series—Planar® DirectLight®.
Featuring COB packaging, 30000:1 contrast, 3840Hz refresh rate, and high pixel density, the energy-efficient DirectLight® Essential is built for high-traffic indoor use and quick installation.

Built with Micro LED technology, the DirectLight® Pro offers rich colors, deep blacks, and 2000 nits of brightness with low power use, making it suitable for both bright and low-light environments.
Planar also partnered with Megapixel to launch a COB Micro LED video wall delivering seamless, high-precision visuals.
Additional highlights included the Luminate® Ultra W, UltraRes® L all-in-one LED displays, and the WallDirector® control solution. Planar also expanded the Leyard®LED display lineup for find-pitch indoor applications, such as the M135, MG-2, MG-2COB, CDI, and LN-C.
Unilumin
Unilumin brought a diverse lineup to InfoComm 2025, covering Mini/Micro LED displays, creative displays, and transparent displays. Key innovations included the UMini W1.2, U-Natural textured display, and Udesign SV transparent display.
The flagship UMini W1.2 features Unilumin’s proprietary Blanc AI image quality engine, delivering exceptional clarity, color, and depth, offering excellent installation flexibility, protection, and maintenance.
The new U-Natural display blends seamlessly into upscale building interiors with customizable finishes like wood or marble grain. When off, it visually disappears; when on, it delivers high-performance visuals ideal for luxury retail stores, hotels, and museums.

The Udesign SV offers 95% transparency, staying nearly invisible when off and delivering bright, holographic-like visuals when on—ideal for retail settings.
Unilumin also partnered with Barco to combine its LED displays with Barco’s advanced image processing systems for next-gen display solutions.
Absen
At InfoComm 2025, Absen showcased its core COB display technologies and high-end stage rental solutions, along with several creative products.
The flagship KLCOB V2 uses flip-chip COB technology to lower failure rates and boost lifespan, and heat dissipation. It supports HDR, DCI-P3, high brightness, low power use, and meets the EMC Class B standards.
New products included the JD-H (holographic display), X136F (foldable display), and NT Pro V2 and PL V3 (rental solutions).
The JD-H features a frameless design with 90%+ transparency, under 2mm thickness, 5kg/m² weight, and supports seamless curved installation with sharp imaging.
The ICON X136F foldable screen features quick setup, a motorized adjustable stand, and smart interaction—highly integrated and ready to use out of the box.
The ultra-lightweight NT Pro V2 boosts LED thrust over fourfold and improves installation speed by 20%, offering film-grade performance and quicker ROI. The PL V3 features 7680Hz refresh, 4500 nits of brightness, 16-bit grayscale, and IP65 protection, making it well-suited for outdoor events like tours and music festivals.

Colorlight
Colorlight presented its full range of LED innovations and professional AV control technologies at InfoComm 2025.
Debuting at the show, the U15 Max video splicer can process 520 million pixels, supports various signals and screen management modes, and incorporates an AI-powered alert system. It suits fine-pitch LED, LCD splicing, and projection setups.

Designed for conference settings, the AX08 AI Media Center runs on an LED OS system and supports AI-powered resolution upscaling, motion compensation, 8K video decoding, and multimedia editing, enhancing both meeting efficiency and visual quality.
Colorlight also showcased its ColorAdept for wide-gamut reproduction, the CCM6000 for curved screen calibration, and the LEDMaster that combines AI and IoT for remote monitoring and smart alerts.
The CS series servers support 16K decoding and point-to-point display, with its GrandShow software for multimedia and audio control—ideal for immersive setup on spherical, irregular, or ultra-wide displays.
Novastar
Novastar unveiled a comprehensive suite of display solutions aimed at accelerating MLED adoption.
The Infinity MLED PWM/PAM hybrid solution integrates control, imaging, grayscale calibration, and driver ICs for superior visual experiences. Its 5G transmission functionality enables 8K UHD at 5Gbps with 16-port sync, suited for high-end rentals. Novastar’s calibration ensures over 98.5% uniformity and color accuracy, supports COG/MIP mass production, and spherical screen tuning.

The company also showcased multimedia control, cloud services, smart visualization systems, and the intelligent TU platform, covering a wide range of LED and MLED applications across industries.
Macroblock
Macroblock’s new DaVinci series targets filming, low-brightness performance, and energy efficiency in LED displays.
The MBI5292 offers 19-bit grayscale and PAM/PWM for enhanced detail and low-gray refresh in high-end filming. The MBS7252 delivers 16-scan low-gray output and over 20% energy savings for outdoor displays, while the MBS7253 offers 32-scan low grayscale for semi-outdoor settings.

The MBS7264 supports up to 64 scans, ensuring visual consistency across various driver ICs for indoor and outdoor displays. The common-cathode MBI5756, enables energy-saving “cold screens” and simplifies manufacturing.
Deco
Deco unveiled the world’s first COB-packaged LED module with mmWave wireless connectivity, advancing its “fully wireless display” strategy to the module level. The design eliminates wires and connectors, enabling wireless signal and power transmission for faster assembly, reduced weight, and improved reliability.

To demonstrate the technology, DECO and its partner Novastar showcased a 108-inch display using the wireless module, drawing strong interest from attendees.
Conclusion
Micro LED stayed in the spotlight at InfoComm 2025, with exhibitors adopting MIP and COB as the dominant packaging technologies for their displays.
LED innovation extended across rental, virtual production, and transparent displays. Rental screens saw strong attention, with companies like Sunmoon launching high-end driver IC solutions. TrendForce predicts the global LED rental market to exceed $1.7 billion in 2025, showing continuous growth.
Holographic displays also emerged as a key trend, with companies such as Nationstar, SinYoPto, Absen, and Unilumin showcasing related products.
