Luminus, a global manufacturer of high-performance LEDs, announced today a new family of 3 volt 3030 midpower LEDs offering  a wide range of options including 200 lumens per Watt, 95+ CRI, and "candle-warm" 2200K.  Luminus has been building a reputation as the market leader in high quality-of-light with their chip-on-board (COB) arrays and midpower products, and this new MP-3030-1100 series contributes further to that effort.  There are a total of 18 different CCT/CRI combinations to choose from in this family, including cool white 70 CRI products capable of delivering up to 200 lumens per watt in outdoor applications and AccuWhite™ 95 CRI minimum (97 typical) warm white for luxury retail applications.

The maturation of LED lighting has given mid-power LED products star status. Philips Lumileds, a major player in the international lighting scene, has shown its resolve in taking mid-power LEDs to another level. Besides releasing four new mid-power LED products in March, the company has introduced a whole new binning method into its new products.
