Power management company Eaton today outlined how recently acquired Ephesus Lighting, a Syracuse, N.Y.-based manufacturer of connected light-emitting diode (LED) lighting solutions for sporting venues and high lumen outdoor and industrial applications, will create new value for a wide range of customers. Ephesus Lighting is a market leader in high output controlled lighting solutions that harness advanced electronic design technology to bring lighting into the digital age.

In support of energy reduction initiatives underway at the Naval Support Activity Annapolis and the US Naval Academy, Ephesus Lighting Inc., the industry leader in LED lighting for sports facilities, has been selected under two contracts to install energy efficient and high-quality LED lighting at seven outdoor sports complexes, three indoor sports arenas and five additional outdoor locations on Naval Support Activity Annapolis. Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium, a multi-purpose outdoor facility that serves as home of the women’s field hockey team and is also used for campus recreation and club sports, will become the first NCAA Division I outdoor college sports venue to be lit with LED lighting. Three college sports and entertainment venues at Ohio University, Union College and the University of British Columbia have seen the future of lighting by joining the growing legion of North American higher education institutions to make the switch to illuminate their arenas with an innovative new LED lighting system from Ephesus Lighting.
