Toshiba Lighting & Technology Corporation announced that it will close its Numazu factory in Shizuoka Ken which produces LED lighting equipment and lighting control by March 2019, reported Nikkei.

Toshiba Lighting and Technology is exiting the consumer market in China, and will be selling all related business operations to local appliance maker Konka Group, according to a recent Nikkei report.

Toshiba Lighting has been the latest international manufacturer to show interest in the Indian market, according to a report from The Economic Times.
