Nichia has announced its product lineup for 2015 will include ELEDS, its first flip chip LEDs by the end of 2015. The new chip will be much smaller than existing products on the market. Osram will be increasingly focused on service and maintenance business in the near future as it overhauls its traditional lighting business.
