Chinese LED manufacturer Lianovation filed a suit against Hanen Digital Interconnect Culture (Hanen Digital) for not returning earnest money after the two organizations canceled an acquisition deal, reported Chinese-language media Sinai.

Taiwanese LED company Lianovation announced last Friday it will be halting trade on the Chinese bourse as of Monday this week, due to uncertainties in a recent acquisition caused by changes in the capital market, management environment, and company restructure.

Lianovation will be issuing 64.9 million private shares to raise RMB 850 million (US $136.99 million) to expand business operations in infrared (IR) focal plane array chips and other sectors.

Lianovation recently announced its revenue was up 22.14% to RMB 1.96 billion (US $320 million) in 2014.
