Engineers at Caltech have developed a system of flat optical lenses that can be easily mass-produced and integrated with image sensors, paving the way for cheaper and lighter cameras in everything from cell phones to medical devices.

Videssence Studio Lighting reveals alliance with Hitachi to create a lively, stimulating Main Camera Stage at this month’s NAB Show. Hitachi Kokusai will utilize LED studio lighting from Videssence to vibrantly illuminate the main stage where featured cameras are displayed and demonstrated.
