Nexxus Lighting Inc. has announced to sign a distributor agreement with PolyBrite International, a Goeken Group Corp. subsidiary, which develops LED lighting systems using a proprietary technology. The City of Chicago will monitor the LED streetlights, weighed against their current lighting solution for streets and alleyways. Seven 120 watt Borealis LED streetlights with a like number of 350 watt HPS (High Pressure Sodium) streetlights were monitored from June 2009 through January 2010.
