A culture center and museum in Iceland has recently transformed with the luminaires from Altman lighting to more sophisticatedly transmit the stories and legacy of Thorbergur Thordarson, an Islandic writer and the region of Suðursveit in South-East Iceland. 

In 1946, more than 100 founding parishioners came together to build a community where families could worship as one, establishing the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Community. Built around a host of ministries that include a school, an early childhood center, and various summer programs, the sanctuary within the community is relied upon as part of the foundation for spiritual growth. With an outdated lighting system which needed replacement, the church worked with the Houston-based manufacturers rep LESCO Lighting Technology who installed a bright and energy-efficient worship design using Chalice LED downlights and Pegasus LED Fresnels from Altman Lighting.

Upon the opening of the world's largest architectural and commercial lighting trade show, Altman Lighting will be at LIGHTFAIR 2018 in Booth 3922 inside McCormick Place on May 8-10, 2018. In preparation for their showcase of innovative architectural and commercial lighting solutions, Altman Lighting will be highlighting the power and performance capabilities of their Gallery LED series, Chalice LED downlights, and the popular Spectra Cyc wall wash family of LED luminaires.  

Located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, and originally established 1885, Abbotsleigh is an independent boarding school which provides a quality and well-balanced education. Focused on empowering their students to be courageous, constructive and compassionate, the school has been working behind the scenes on an upgrade to their concert and assembly hall lighting systems. Led by the systems integration team at Barbizon Australia, the renovation project most recently undertook the upgrading of the house lighting systems in the concert hall using Chalice LED 150W downlights from Altman Lighting. 

Since its opening, the Hong Kong Science Museum has captivated the public’s curiosity through interactive and enlightening exhibitions. Housing over 500 exhibits in an area that spans over 65,000 square meters, the Museum recently opened a series of new exhibits designed to encourage a greater understanding of the world all around us.
