Autonomous Food Delivery Startup Postmates to Use LiDAR Sensors from Ouster

LiDAR sensor provider Ouster announced its partnership with food delivery firm Postmates. The LiDAR company will provider its Ouster OS1 LiDAR sensor for use in Postmates’ latest autonomous delivery rover, Serve. The Ouster OS1 LiDAR is a 64-channel sensor based on complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) technology, enabling Serve to seamlessly and safely navigate sidewalks, detect pedestrians, and interact with the community.
