Hitachi's 4K Q-Series Android QLED TVs hit Europe

Hitachi Appliances Inc has announced to develop world’s first E26-base wide-light-distribution-type LED light bulb, "LDA15D-G," which can emits the amount of light equivalent to that of a 100W incandescent light bulb (1,520lm). Delta to Become Taiwan`s First LED-lighting Manufacturer

Reportedly, Taiwan LED maker Delta Electronics intends to tap into the domestic market with its own brand LED bulbs by the end of 2010. As soon as its products are available for sales, Delta will become Taiwan`s first LED-lighting manufacturer to sell own-brand LED light bulbs on the island. HITACHI, CANON to jointly develop organic EL displays within two years

It’s reported that Hitachi Ltd. (TSE:6501) and Canon Inc. (TSE:7751) have agreed to jointly develop and manufacture small and midsize organic electroluminescence (EL) displays for digital cameras within two years. The two firms plan to set up in early July to handle the project, they will transfer a total of about 100 engineers to a new organization.
