Light Polymers closes $5m Series B strategic funding round with Tokyo Electron and Tsingda International Venture Capital

Light Polymers, a nanochemistry startup with R&D operations in Silicon Valley, Taiwan and Korea, announced today a $5m strategic funding round led by Tsingda International Venture Capital and TEL Venture Capital. The proceeds from the Series B round will be used for strategic projects and a related acquisition that will be announced soon.

Tokyo Electron Device launches RGB LED Control Driver

Recently, Tokyo Electron Device Ltd has launched an RGB LED control driver - the TE7118PF, for LED control applications such as LCD backlights, indoor LED lightings, and LED illumination lights. The TE7118PF can handle high voltages and has a constant-current output in the range 5mA to 30mA which can be configured via an external resistor.
