TriEye unveils high-resolution SWIR image sensor for machine vision and robotics systems

TriEye, a pioneer of the world’s first cost-effective, mass-market Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) sensing technology, released the TES200 1.3MP SWIR image sensor. Based on the innovative TriEye CMOS image sensor technology that allows SWIR capabilities using a CMOS manufacturing process, the TES200 is the first commercially available product released in the Raven product family. The TES200 operates in the 700nm to 1650nm wavelength range, delivering high sensitivity and 1.3MP resolution. With its large format, high frame rate, and low power co...

TriEye and Vertilas demo long-wavelength VCSEL camera

Collaboration combines CMOS-based infrared sensor with 1300 nm emitter array. SWIR sensing with CMOS A partnership between Israeli camera developer TriEye and Germany-based laser diode specialist Vertilas has realized a novel long-range sensor operating in the short-wave infrared (SWIR) spectral region. The setup combines TriEye’s low-cost SWIR sensors, which are fabricated using silicon CMOS processing, with vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSEL) arrays operating at the relatively long wavelengths enabled by indium phosphide (...
