OptoElectronix Announces a Five-Year Warranty on All LED Universal Light Engine Products

OptoElectronix, a LED light engine manufacturer, today announced a five-year (or 35,000-hour, whichever comes first) warranty on their complete line of LED Universal Light Engine(TM) products. These light engines provide full plug-and-play functionality, making it simple for designers to incorporate solid-state lighting into a wide variety of existing and new luminaires. OptoElectronix Universal Light Engines include the LED, a thermal network, optics, the electronic driving system for the LEDs, and a range of control functions.

OptoElectronix Introduces New Integrated LED Light Engine With 1,000 Lumens Light Output

OptoElectronix announced a unique LED-based lighting module that enables luminaire manufacturers to accelerate adoption of SSL (solid state lighting) for commercial lighting fixtures. It delivers the same light output as a 60-watt incandescent bulb at just one-fourth the power and has a 50,000-hour life.

OptoElectronix Releases High-efficient, 180-degree LED Modules

OptoElectronix announced Wednesday a new series of small, high-efficient, 180-degree LED modules. The round, 60mm (2.35-inch) diameter, aluminum modules are precisely engineered for optimal thermal management. They integrate the LED, lens, and electronics, and are rated for 50,000 hours. The modules are designed to flush mount through a standard 44.5mm (1.75-inch) mounting hole with three screws, and the flange and lens are only 4mm (0.16 inches) thick.
