It’s said that the provider of analog, high bandwidth communications and Ethernet IC solutions, Micrel ,has released its new linear White LED (WLED) Drivers, MIC4801/MIC4802, designed to eliminate noise, minimize component count and simplify numerous designs. The new drivers are single channel, constant-current sink LED drivers designed for architectural, landscape, and general LED lighting products. Micrel Brings The Power To Light (TM) With Its First High Brightness LED Driver for Solid-State Lighting and General Illumination Applications

Micrel Inc., (NASDAQ: MCRL), a provider of analog, high bandwidth communications and Ethernet IC solutions, has recently rolled out the MIC3230/31/32, a new family of dedicated high brightness LED drivers. These devices are the first in a new series of high brightness LED drivers targeting solid-state lighting and general illumination applications. This LED driver provides the flexibility of driving 1W, 3W and higher power LEDs that are available on the market today.
