Phoseon introduces the FireJet™ FJ240 UV LED curing solution, its highest UV power air-cooled light array. Providing an additional 33% of UV power compared to existing FireJet products, the new solution is designed for more demanding single pass printing and area curing applications. These products will be available November 2015 in 75/150/225/300mm window lengths with 40mm width and peak irradiance up to 8W/cm2.

The second day of IR+UV Expo 2015 special forum that took place in late April in Yokohama, Japan started off with a semiconductor components for laser diodes (LD) and UV LED developments presentation by a senior researcher from Japan’s prestigious research institute, Riken.

Phoseon Technology was reported to expand its headquarters in Hillsboro and this would increase the company‘s manufacturing capacity up 50%. The ultraviolet LED technology was Phoseon’s mainly growth momentum, which could be used to dry and cure products for a variety of industries ranging from printing to wood finishing to medical device manufacturing.
