Described as the consumer range, it comprises two E27 Classic A lamps, two MR16s with GU5.3 fittings and a PAR16 with a GU10 socket. Verbatim LED lighting, sometimes known as solid state lighting, will be available in wholesale and retail outlets throughout Australia in early 2011. Initially, Verbatim plans to sell lamps focused on the domestic lighting market with the most common shapes and base fittings including A-lamps, candle lamps and directional MR16s, with E14, E27, GU5.3 and GU10 bases. The products will be suitable for direct replacement of incandescent and halogen and compact fluorescent lamps.
