Chinese LED manufacturer Leyard intends to expand its business in the Indian market by investing in Indian LED manufacturer MIC Electronics, according to a report from Indian newspaper The Economic Times.

MIC Electronics Limited has been reported to bags multiple LED orders worth Rs 23.89 cr. One Rs.6.63 Cr order comes from the Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA), based on the agreement that MIC Electronics will supply LED Solar Street Lighting Systems to them. Indian Railways also booked a gamut of True Color LED Display Systems and Emergency LED Lighting solutions worth Rs.5.87 Cr from MIC.
