Samsung LED is reported to obtain the Energy Star certification which is an international yardstick of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of the United States as to the purchase of lighting equipment. According to the company, it is the first of its kind in Korea, acquired ISO 17025 for LM79 (illumination) and LM80 (LED) from the Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme.
