Samsung LED (CEO, Jaekwon Kim) announced on September 20th that its mid-power 2323 LED package has now exceeded 6,000 hours of independent, EPA recognized 3rd party IES LM80 testing and the company is now able to provide LM80 test data upon request.
IES LM-80-2008 is the industry standard that defines the method for testing LED lamps, arrays and modules to determine their lumen depreciation characteristics. The company will release the LED ceiling lights and E17-base small LED light bulbs Aug 27, 2011, and E26-base LED light bulbs Sept 23, 2011.
