Dow Electronic Materials has announced to acquire a private, US-based research company Lightscape Materials, Inc., to expand its LED technology portfolio. But financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Major Lightscape Materials' investors included Wisepower, a Korean company, and Silicon-Valley based SRI International.
