The new MTCS-C3 product family enables users to implement their own True Color Colorimeter into lighting, backlight, LED tests, color selection or other applications. The MTCS-C3 is ideal to measure color coordinates (XYZ), CCT or brightness levels. The sensor system is based on the JENCOLOR® standard components MTCSiCF (True Color sensor) and MCDC04 (Signal converter).  The sensor is based on the CIE1931 XYZ color standard, while the signal converter allows an output at 16/20 bit at a dynamic range of 1-to-1,000,000. The Evaluation Kit is prepared for specific customer calibrations.

MAZeT GmbH presented new customer projects and examples of complex embedded-computing modules at the booth shared with PHOENIX CONTACT at the ‘embedded world’ trade fair in Nuremberg, Germany, from 24 to 26 February 2015. Other products demonstrated included innovative sensor solutions for controlling LEDs. This kind of control is required when the LED light source is an application comprising multiple LEDs. Despite the natural LED drift (temperature, aging), the application is required to constantly generate a specific mixed color or color temperature during the entire lifecycle or in a specific scenario.

The first JENCOLOR Innovation Forum (www.jencolor-innovations-forum.de) took place in Jena, Germany, on 5 September 2012 and offered an overview of the application scope and possibilities of JENCOLOR products. The event was full to capacity with almost 80 participants. Unfortunately, it was not possible to accept all of the attendance requests.
