Fraunhofer Launches Color Tunable Transparent OLED

The project LOIGB (LED and OLED integration into glass and plastic composites for the use in lighting systems for railway and further applications) has been successfully completed. The results will be presented at LOPEC 2015 (March 4th – 5th, 2015, Munich, hall B0, booth 230).

UCLA Engineers Develop a Stretchable and Foldable OLED Display

Researchers from UCLA's Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science have developed a transparent, elastic organic light-emitting device, or OLED, that could one day make all these possible. The OLED can be repeatedly stretched, folded and twisted at room temperature while still remaining lit and retaining its original shape.
