Revolution Lighting Technologies announced the award of a Department of Defense (DoD) contract through the Defense Logistics Agency to supply 2,300 of its twofoot T8 LED tubes to the U.S. Navy. Revolution Lighting was selected because its LED lighting products incorporate Buy American Act (BAA) and Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliant components, ensuring they meet the strict requirements needed for implementation into U.S. Navy vessels. The tubes are manufactured in the Company’s new state-of-the-art Simi Valley production and warehouse facility.

T-LED lighting is being installed in Navy installations around the world, including administrative buildings, athletic facilities, street lights, and parking garages as a means to save money, while contributing to the Navy's energy efficiency efforts.

Revolution Lighting Technologies, Inc. announced that its Seesmart brand has been selected by the U.S. Navy’s Military Sealift Command to supply Lewis and Clark class T-AKE dry cargo/ammunition ships with 17,000 Seesmart two and four foot LED tube lamps. QuaLED Lighting, a woman-owned small business based in Scottsdale, Arizona, is the Revolution Lighting distributor on the project.
