General information

The purpose of tSSL is to bring together scientists and engineers actively engaged in research, develoent, and manufacturing on all aspects of Solid State Lighting including materials, epitaxial growth, chip processing, optical, package and heat dissipation design as well as systems and applications to discuss current progress in this field.

The 2009 Taiwan Solid State Lighting (2009 tSSL) will include the topic of GaN substrate, UV-LED, AC LED, Lighting Application, Standardization of SSL and Ergonomic Lighting. This great event will take place at Taipei International Convention Center Taipei (TICC) on June 11-12, 2009. We’re honored to have Mr. Genichi Shinomiya, chief Division Officer of R&D Division and LED Engineering & Develoent Division from Nichia, and Mr. Koichi Ota, Managing Director from Toyoda Gosei (TG) as our special keynote speaker this year. We sincerely invite you to attend 2009 tSSL and meet with Taiwan LED industry leaders at this magnificent ceremony.

Background

In 2008 tSSL, we invited the Chairman & CEO of Cree and the Vice President & General Manager of the Solid State Lighting Business Unit of OSRAM Opto Semiconductors as the keynote speakers. Nearly 400 attendees from Asia, America and Europe join this great symposium at the 2008 tSSL event in Taipei.
