Leds America, Inc. announces a breakthrough in developing a LCC- LED Cluster Chip technology light source to replace incandescent bulbs. The 10W Led-O has replaced a 100W standard bulb to offer the same lumens output and saves 90% of the energy used currently, or 50% compared to a CFL, emitting no of UV light and having no mercury.
The Led-O is 100% recyclable, its life time is over 5 years, works in -40 degree temperature and is practically unbreakable. Current products include replacements for 100W, 75W, 60W and 40W bulbs and a low profile light bar that measures less than 1/4" thick. All products provide energy savings of up to and even exceeding 90% and come with a full 2 year factory warranty.
"Our team of experts discovered a way to create a LCC light source that has a life of over 5 years, is recyclable, contains no glass, has no fragile parts, uses no gases and works in virtually any temperature. We were told this was not possible, but did not give up in our product development and finally solved all the problems," says Joel Westermarck from Leds America, Inc.
"We are also in the process of developing manufacturing plants right here in the United States with the help and cooperation of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers," continued Mr. Westermarck.
The lights will be marketed under the Led-O brand name which will have its first launch at the New York Light Fair May 5-7, 2009 booth 284.
