Luminus Devices, and T-Opto, a Division of Toyota Tsusho America has introduced the SoloLux high output LED module, a high efficacy sub-system for high lumen general lighting applications that typically utilize a 175W metal halide source.
The patent-pending module produces up to 6,500 lumens from a single source, and is based on Luminus Big Chip LED technology. SoloLux is available in color temperatures ranging from warm to cool, and is in process of attaining LM-79, UL1598 and ULIP66 accreditations. SoloLux will be available for sampling this summer with volume availability shortly thereafter.
SoloLux is designed for indoor and outdoor installations requiring many thousands of lumens such as parking area, roadway, canopy, high bay and high ceiling down lights.
